Paper Chef 36 the roundup!

Sorry for being a bit late with the roundup! It is very small but very good I think I can say without exaggerating. I hope that the reason to why we have so few participants was the somewhat difficult ingredients and not boredom, I think it was the ingredients because I felt a little perplex myself when I saw them last week: dried chili pepper, barley, vanilla pod and beef are an unusal combination but as you will se, you can make wonders with them!

The first to send me an entry was this month's judge Mike from Spikey Mikeys who obviously only will take part in the People's Choice part. He made a Chili Beef with Barley that was so good that he will make it again I believe him!

Terry of Taste Adventures has made an enticing Pepper Crusted London Broil With Chili-Vanilla Balsamic Cream and Chili-Avocado Barley Pilaf, are you beginning to see what I mean here? The imagination!

My friend Murasaki of Samurai Viking Cuisine was kind and good enough to run to the shop to make a late entry for the PC when I asked her, she came up with Barley Beef Spring Rolls With Cocoa Vanilla Chili Sauce - it was well worth waiting for!

I made Barley and Chili Coated Beef Dice on a Barley and Vanilla Couscous Cake.

See how different yet delicious these four entries are? I am impressed actually!
Please vote for the People's Choice and stay tuned for the winner that Mike will announce next week!
